Lab grown diamonds are real diamonds that are created in controlled laboratory environments using advanced technology that replicates the natural process of diamond formation.
They are made of pure carbon and have the same physical, chemical, and optical properties as mined diamonds — meaning they look, sparkle, and perform exactly the same.
These diamonds are grown using two primary methods:
- HPHT (High Pressure High Temperature): recreates the intense heat and pressure found deep within the Earth.
- CVD (Chemical Vapour Deposition): uses a carbon-rich gas chamber to gradually build the diamond layer by layer.
- Both methods produce genuine diamonds that are indistinguishable from mined diamonds, even to trained gemologists without specialized equipment.
